Aaron goes to college!

Little Aaron is now off at NC State studying engineering and loving it. I've only talked to him once since we moved him in, but he seems to be really enjoying it. We moved him in on August 15th. Bryce and I drove to Raleigh from Blacksburg for the day, to see his new dorm room and help him get settled. There isn't much space to get settled, but we did our best :) He is rooming with his really good friend, Spencer, from Greensboro. We are so excited for him!!! It was awesome to go down there, even just for a few hours, to see him off!

On the way, we saw this. How would you like your plate to say "Pooface"?

Cute little freshmen college students!

Could he be more ready for school? He might use ONE of those neatly stacked pencils or pens probably all semester long. You spell this "D-O-R-K." It must run in the family.

Dad can't believe Aaron is in college.

This is pretty much one side of the room... (Aaron's desk, the fridge, microwave, TV, DVD and XBox neatly over in the corner) I think that might be their favorite corner of the room.

Here's the other side. Aaron is on the top bunk, Spencer on bottom. There's Spencer's desk, and the window. Did I mention they are on the 8th floor? And just outside their window conveniently sits railroad tracks. I'm sure they're pretty used to it by now.

Goodbye!
