Announcement!

It's official and time to make it more public. We are expecting an addition to the Whited family in early September!

I am 13 weeks along. We are super excited!! We still can't believe that we are having a baby. It really just doesn't feel real yet. I've been really fortunate to not feel sick this first trimester.

It's funny because I was so focused on figuring out an awesome way to tell family and friends, but it came down to one day when we just decided to start calling people. We ended up waiting until about 10 weeks to tell people, first, because we were still in shock and didn't really believe it, and second, it was kind of fun just enjoying it together (-just the two of us-) for awhile.

We celebrated our 3rd anniversary last September and starting talking about babies a lot. We knew it would be pretty soon, especially since I finish school this May. Our big goal was for me to graduate. I cannot express how EXCITED I am to finish school and enjoy summer! AND get ready for baby!!

I also have to say, I love that many of my friends and older sister are either pregnant or have babies that will be able to give me great mom advice along the way. :-)

We both have a hunch that it's a boy, but we will officially find out on April 20th!! I am SOO excited to find out! This whole "wait and be patient" thing is getting old! Although time is moving fast since school and work has been keeping me extremely busy.
