Next...

Our little family has news.  BIG news.  As of late April, we will be a family of FOUR!  I am 17 weeks pregnant!!!!!  I'm not sure it's really "sunk in" yet.

First, we are so excited.  We love being parents, not to say that there are no rough days, but it is such a treasure.  We always knew we wanted more, just didn't expect it to happen that quick.  I guess that makes twice that we didn't expect to get pregnant so fast.  This is also such a huge blessing because so much lately, I've thought and prayed for those who have a harder time getting pregnant if at all.  I really had the worst expectations, just to protect myself in case, and I was surprised with an easier road.  God is good no matter the circumstances.

Why did it take this long to share?  First, I wanted to be sure and tell family, then some close friends, and my boss/coworkers.  I guess time just snuck up on me and it's going by much faster.  I really can't believe we are almost halfway there!

Due date is April 27th.  Bryce's birthday is April 25th.  My Nanny's birthday is May 2nd.  I recently was told that the 2 most popular months to have a baby were September and April.  It's looking like we may support that idea.  Unless this baby wants to be a week late like his/her older sister.

I am beyond myself waiting to find out the gender.  Wish we didn't have to wait so long!  December 9th is the big day.   Only 3 weeks left.

Another huge blessing-we found a doctor that we love just 10 minutes away.  I asked a few friends from church and all 3 that I asked recommended the same woman.  She's great.

Names...we haven't really talked much about it.  Actually, when we got pregnant with Madison, we talked about names a ton.  We (I) came up with a list of names that I liked and let Bryce cross off the ones he wasn't crazy about.  That list still exists and we already have a top boy name and a top girl name.  We haven't been ones to keep the gender or the name a secret, so I'll be sure to share soon.

I don't really have a feeling that it's a boy or a girl.  What do we want?  I would be happy with a boy or girl.  I know that answer is annoying because everyone probably says that.  Truth is, we would LOVE a boy for so many reasons, but I would LOVE for Madison to have a sister.  I know how close I am with my sisters and hope one day that she can have the same bond.    I know Bryce would be excited either way.  Of course, though, we would love to have at least one of each at some point.  I did have a feeling it was a boy once.  BOY was I wrong!  Madison is all girl.
