VT vs. Wake Forest

It was awesome fall weather for the Wake Forest homecoming game. We played well and won. We went to a fun tailgate with BMES (Bryce's department). I don't have many pictures except this one. I have to admit, it did get pretty chilly, and with the score looking good for the hokies, we left in the beginning of the 3rd quarter.



The Friday evening before the game, we celebrated our first Oktoberfest with friends. We all made tons of German food: brats, sauerkraut, German potato salad, spaetzle, schnitzle, apple strudel and apple kuchen.

I only took one picture, but I think it was one of the best captured of the night. The Boleys hosted it. They loved Oktoberfest and went all out, as you can see. They even demonstrated the Polka and we had German music playing all night.
