Granny Whited

Last weekend, we went home to Parkersburg to visit the Whiteds including Granny. She was diagnosed with Alzheimers a couple months ago and it had been awhile since we'd see her.


It was great to visit with her and hear stories of when the four boys were little. We all laughed about how the boys (Bryce and his 3 brothers) would fake being sick so they could stay at Granny's house for the day and eat ice cream and watch cable TV. She was also a great cook, so they probably got really good food while they were "sick."

It was so sweet because even though she is starting to lose most of her short term memory and some long term, she said multiple times "You know, I am just so proud of my family. From the very biggest to the smallest, I am so proud of each one. I have the best family."
