Madison's first VT tailgate

Well, she was in the womb.  But that can still count, right?

I was hoping that she would come on LABOR day which happened to be the season opening VT football game...but apparently it wasn't her day.

BUT it was the day for our friends, Millie and Andrew, who gave birth to their sweet little boy, Jude, on LABOR day!!  We are so happy for them!

We stopped by Aunt Judy and Uncle David's tailgate and filled up on their always delicious food including special hot dogs brought from New York by Andy and Lindsey.  Then we visited with Helene and Steve who came in town for the game.  We ended the day in our pajamas, feet propped up, eating ice cream, and biting our nails as the Hokies came out of overtime with a win against Georgia Tech.  Those lucky dogs.  Let's just say they weren't looking too great for the first game.
