More family photos

It's funny that we've never had professional photos done (aside from our wedding) until June, and then we got more just a few months later in September.

Bryce reminded me that I never posted some of them, so I thought I'd share a few.  When we were visiting family in West Virginia in September, it was the first time in nearly 2 years that the entire family was present.  It was the first time ever that we were able to get a good photo of everyone together.

With 3 two year olds and 3 babies (and 9 adults), we weren't expecting much.  "If we can just get one good photo of everyone together, that would be amazing," we said.  Well, it happened.  We got so many good photos of everyone.  Lori Pickens did more than an incredible job getting the adults and kids to smile.

The funny thing is, our pictures were on a Saturday morning and right as we were all getting ready, the power went out.  On top of that, we weren't super organized so when Lori showed up, we were scrambling to get organized and ready to go.  No shower for me, no coffee for most of us, and no ironing/hair drying/straightening unless you were all ready before it went out.

The photos were so beautiful.  Thankful to have these to remember this time.

Of course she has dirty knees...she's her Daddy's daughter.

I would say this was excellent for 6 kids under 3 years old.  Carter is the only one who finds family photos relaxing.
