This little guy is 8 months old (almost 9 months)!

What's new-
He finally got a tooth! He actually has his two front bottom teeth now. They came almost at the exact same time. He really wants to be mobile but still can't quite get it right. He pivots and pushes forward a little bit, but not quite crawling yet. He loves picking up toys and inspecting them by putting them in his mouth. He blabbers all the time, many times getting quite loud squealing. He's very interactive, he moves in to "kiss" me and giggles after we bonk heads, and he is obsessed with whatever Maddie is doing.

Eating
He eats 2-3 meals of solid food a day. He breastfeeds 5-6 times a day depending on how much he eats. No big update here since last month.Sleeping
It seems that we are in a pretty good routine. It's about the same as last month. The traveling here and there tends to mess things up but that's the sacrifice we take with it, right?
His hair is getting so long! He has a little bed head now when he wakes up!
I love when he wakes up from his nap. He is all smiles.
He is just beautiful Elissa! Well maybe I should say handsome hehe!! I miss you all so very much and I am just dying to see you..give you hugs..and hold that precious baby boy that is growing up so quickly! Mom has not told me about the event entire trip yet but she said it was just breathtaking. Do you think we can write letters or do snail mail with each other? I know that sounds ancient but I would love to write to you sister to sister. So thankful you take so many pictures and keep them coming!! I think I check to see if you have a new post of pictures (and stories too of course) like multiple times a day ha. Xoxoxo!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful update, and he is sooooo darling. I can't believe how big he looks now sitting next to Maddie. For a while they made our big girls look like giants, but it's amazing how quickly the littles start catching up. The face of him scrunching his nose is especially like Maddie. Way to go Carter for sleeping so well even with all the traveling! What a champ!
