Tulip Festival

We just got back from an amazing vacation in Bend.  I'm excited to share the details soon, but first, I have to share more about earlier this Spring.

For about a month, usually in April, fields of tulips are blooming in Woodburn, about 45 minutes south of Portland.  I always insist on going to Tulip Festival, and when I say "always", I mean the two opportunities we've had to go.  Even still, I want it to be one of those fun things we do.  (If you can picture it, there are expensive bouncy houses, snow cones, hot dogs, pony rides, and perfect photo opportunities with all the beautiful blooms.)
