Easter 2016

Easter last year in Bulach, Switzerland.  Last year, all we did for Easter was dress up, take forced photos of the kids on our patio, and go to church in the morning.

Easter this year in Portland, Oregon.  This year, I managed to string up some balloons, fill their Easter baskets, we went to church, and we even had an egg hunt later in the day when the weather cooperated.  The "egg hunt" at our house was more just hiding eggs over and over again in the same places and the kids squealing every time they found them.  I'm sure it won't be like that for long, especially since the eggs were empty after the first finding.

We also drove a few minutes to Wilsonville for a public Easter egg hunt on Saturday.  It was our first time doing one of those.  Lots of chaos with tons of kids and candy, but the kids had a great time, with the exception of Carter meeting the Easter bunny.  He still remembers it.
