We had a good cook named "Bang". We thought he was joking about his name until Ashley (of course) checked his ID. He was telling the truth.

Love those student teachers
This past Thursday, I went out to eat with my fellow student teachers in the Radford City Cohort at Kabuki. I love those girls (and 3 guys)! We have been working with each other at the schools this entire year, in classes together, not getting paid together, telling student stories together, seeing each other almost every day, and suffering through all the long hours and hard work. I have to say, I have loved the school district and working at McHarg and Belle Heth elementary schools. Some of us are graduate students and some are undergraduate students, but we are all less than 1 week (2 school days) away from graduation!!!

Some of the girls surprised me with gifts for little baby girl. She is so loved and spoiled already! It was so fun.
And I have to note, I actually (reluctantly) caught a shrimp in my mouth-first time ever! I'll miss you guys!!

The girls I connected with while student teaching are the ones I'm closest to now! So glad you found good friends!
