Are we there yet?

Those are favorite words of Maddie's on ANY car ride, no matter the distance or destination.  It felt like those were my feelings from the time we found out that we were moving until we moved into our new house.  It wasn't that I wanted to end that chapter of our life, say any goodbyes, or breeze through time with our families.  It was just a long road with little ones in tow.

A few pictures of our first couple months here.  We were in our temporary apartment for almost 4 weeks, Bryce and I got sick right when we arrived, then Mimi arrived to help us, we had the floors replaced in the new house and Bryce painted a few rooms the second week we were there.  Plus, we bought a car!  And waited for our stuff.  And waited some more.  Then we moved into the new house without our stuff and got an air mattress.

Our stuff finally arrived and it started to feel like our home.  I remember in December, having a conversation with someone when I said that we'll probably be settled no sooner than March and then we can actually unpack/relax.  That was pretty accurate.

Busy with make up and painting
We found some funny things in our storage unit
The new floors are perfect for Cinderella's ballroom dancing
