It turned out to be Christmas all over again with more presents. Abby was so curious about the presents. She kept asking every few minutes, "Presents? Presents?" Once it was time, she wanted to help everyone open their gifts.
We even got to watch the Virginia Tech bowl game on New Years Eve and eat at Sharkey's. In my family, we grew up with parents who LOVE wings, which has rubbed off on us. We ordered a full bucket, or 50 wings! Almost all of us were in bed before midnight...haha.
Speaking of Sharkey's, the Wing and Pizza Buffet is worth it on Sunday/Wednesday evenings. It's mainly worth it for the wings, not necessarily for the pizza. Oh, and the "sweet warm dough balls" as some of us call them. They are basically like sugary donuts.
Aaron is obviously trying to influence her already, but we all know she is a Hokie at heart.
Bryce had another FIRST again. We made cheese fondue and it was delicious! We cut up broccoli, carrots, celery, french bread, and apples to dip in the mixture of Gruyere and Swiss. We also had some really good turkey meatballs to dip in a smoky barbeque sauce.
Abby had a great Christmas at New Years. Does it get much cuter than this?
Oh my gosh, Abby is ADORABLE. Why have I not met her?!?! She looks especially adorable standing on your Adeline rug ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little girl! And it looks like it was a fabulous way to ring in 2010 :)
