Literally, Bryce and I have class. Well, Bryce is taking only 2 classes, but if LAB could be considered a class, I don't even want to imagine how many hours it would count for with the amount of time he spends there! The great thing about it is that he really enjoys what he's doing with biomedical engineering. SBES is a great program and right up his alley for what he's interested in.
I usually struggle with describing exactly what he does all day in the lab. This is actually a pretty good description of what he is studying and doing experiments on. The scaffolds where the cells grow are particularly important in what he is researching, and he works on them all the time. As his wife, I'm used to not understanding everything he talks about regarding his work. So, if you're thinking, "Wow, that's way over my head," I'm right there with ya!
I, on the other hand, have 4 classes, all online. I'm taking them at New River Community College. After this semester, I'm hoping to start at Radford for my Masters. As with my classes, I specifically remember a conversation with Bryce...
B: "But do you think 4 classes will be a heavy load with job work on top of it?"
E: "No, it will be fine, I took 3 last semester and it was fine, really. I can manage it just fine."
B: "Whatever you think. I just don't want you to be too stressed out."
Am I stubborn or can I just call it determined? Although the classes aren't difficult per say, they ARE time consuming. I feel like a lot of it is just busy work, homework assignments, essays, discussion board topics, tests, quizzes. One thing is for sure, they have been keeping me on my toes. I really don't mind online classes, actually, they are pretty great and flexible if one is self disciplined. With that in mind, I am forever thankful for post it notes and agenda books/planners.
How you make time for the Twilight series is beyond me! Maybe you could teach Meredith how you do it! :)
