Skeleton in the closet

Not really in the closet, but in my office. He had been here for months and just recently got himself some clothes (and a new owner).

Bryce's mom was a 1st grade teacher for 30+ years and had him in the classroom. When she retired, she had a garage of school stuff that we had fun picking through (and hopefully, she keeps a lot that I can use for my future classroom!!). Anyways, Bryce thought he was cool. We brought him home, but all the while, knew Brant would love him more, graduating from med school and all. So, in congratulations to him, I sewed together (no pattern, mind you) a graduation gown and cap for him. The cap is my favorite.



Bryce wanted to buy a child's gown and cap online, and my reply was, "Don't you have faith in my sewing?" He kept searching for one online, until I came home with fabric already started on it. It turned out better than I thought it would!
