Around Bülach

Just like most Swiss towns, Buelach (spelled with an "e" to show that the "u" has 2 dots) has an altstadt or old town section.  It's so quaint.  We could walk about 1/2 mile to get downtown.  There's a church tower with bells that ring often and cute local shops.

We miss taking walks there.  We took about an hour walk almost every day.  Maddie knew exactly where the yarn/sewing shop is located, where the gum ball machine is, and that we could stop by the bakery next to the post office for a berliner (a jelly filled donut), a gipfel (like a croissant) or fresh pressed apple juice.

We miss you, Buelach!!!
