Monterey

When we left Nanny's yesterday, we headed south towards the coast. We stopped near Palo Alto to check out the Stanford campus. It was pretty. Very different looking than Virginia Tech, but still a fun university area with bikers and students everywhere.

This is the only picture I got because we didn't have ANY change to park at the meters on campus.



Then we got back on the highway and drove to Monterey. We parked right at Fisherman's Wharf. It was such a beautiful day!!





All the seals were out in their usual spot. They are so adorable! I loved watching them. They're goofy.











We walked around historical downtown. We saw some cute old homes and gardens.





Then off to Carmel we went.
